Each person we work with who is supporting a loved one with dementia is seen in a holistic manner. We explore the family caregiver's roles, responsibilities, wants and desires and best outcomes as a caregiver of a person living with dementia. We consider and factor in the preferences, wants and desires of the person being cared for. However, the emphasis in our coaching is on developing effective strategies for the caregiver. We use evidence based strategies and research to develop our individualized coaching programs.Using these evidence based strategies, we work to decrease the family caregivers burden and stress.We use science backed strategies to educate the family about effective caregiving techniques for dementia care and strongly emphasize development of caregiver resilience and mindset.
