Paul John Hollywood MBE (born 1 March 1966) is an English celebrity chef and television personality, widely known as a judge on The Great British Bake Off since 2010. Hollywood began his career at his father's bakery as a teenager and went on to serve as head baker at a number of British and international hotels.

Paul is a Master Baker and has worked in some of the most exclusive hotels in the world including the Dorchester in London.

Paul's father founded a chain of bakeries known as Bread Winner, which eventually stretched from Aberdeen to Lincolnshire. Paul's grandfather was head baker at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool.

But how exactly did he do it? Paul lost "just over" a stone with some prominent diet and lifestyle changes. He started working out, namely walking and running, in order to burn calories and shed fat. He also revealed he did a little "tinkering", suggesting that odd jobs around the house helped him burn calories.
